Design a control system for house appliances. it consists of a  
transmitter (remote control)which will send the control signal to the
microcontroller through the SCI.The microcontroller will can control
eight electrical appliances in the house.(chipset: 68HC11)


actually it wan use a keypad n infrared to control eight thing(any thing)
and then the control signal will send through the SCI....

and the block diagram...thanks..

Why don't you send us your block diagram, and your initial ideas for the system, and we'll be able to provide you with some feedback?

Please note that the 68HC11 is no longer manufactured and not recommended for new designs. You should move to the HC(S)08 family of microcontrollers.
