hi everybody!
i wrote some days ago but i've received no response, so i decided to write a new message.
i'm working with the MC33794, a board with an e-field sensor, controlled by a HC908QB8.
i've programmed it with a simple code that take a voltage value from the pin LEVEL, convert it in a digital value and send it to a PC using serial communication.
the program run in full simulation mode and seems to be all right, but when i try to switch to user mode nothing happens.
the board has an integrated switch for monitor/user mode, but it seems not to work.
i asked my university professor but he doesn't know how to help me.

if you can, please write all the ideas you have about it...

if you know a freescale member who can help me, please tell me how i can contact him.

sorry for my bad english... thanks for you attention

Hello sec1980,

Are you actually erasing flash and re-programming the the new code within the 908QB8, when in monitor mode?  Have you verified that the new code is correctly loaded?  What hardware are you using for programming, presumably via MON-08 connection?

Regards,
Mac

hi bigmac.

in these days i've programmed the micro a lot of time, everytime modifying some parts of the code...
i'm using a USB MON08 multilink and codewarrior 3.1 with the last update for the QB8.
i don't know how to verify the uploaded code, but i think that it's all right...
if you can, tell me how to verify it

Hi,

You can verify the code in the MCU with the source in hiwave debugger by using

Menu, MultilinkCyclonePro

Choose, Start Expert Mode Programmer

Then use the VM command in there.

Not sure this will help you with the original problem though.
