Hi everybody,

I got a problem with microcontrollers MC68HC908AZ60.

I got a binary that works well on a MC68HC908AZ60. I bought some "new" microcontrollers MC68HC908AZ60A, I red the differences between both µc (cf. AN2215), and try to modify some registers in my binary file but it doesn't work.

Is there a document or a method to migrate a software from MC68HC908AZ60 to MC68HC908AZ60A ?

The "MC68HC908AZ60" is not a ColdFire processor.

Please move your question to the following Forum, and also search that Forum for any relevant answers.

As well as that App Note, the differences are also listed in Appendix A in the MC68HC908AZ60A Data Sheet.

The Flash and EEPROM have changed a lot. Control Registers have moved and the clock setup (for the EEPROM) is different.

You really need to recompile the original source code with appropriate changes. If you don't have the source (and the compiler and development system, computer old enough to run it, operating system old enough to run it, working licenses) then the only option to make reliable products is to use the Non-A parts.
