SMAC and BeeStack together

Is it  possible to connect a SMAC device to a Beestack device?

Is it transparent to me? Or I need to program something?

Hi

SMAC devices cannot directly connect to a ZigBee Network as they have different networking layers.  The only way to do this is via a gateway device that will do translation from one network to the other.

Hi,

SMAC is NOT compliant with 802.15.4 which ZigBee is build on top.

the SMAC is not compliant with the very strict timing and SMAC does not provide the acknowlegdement scheme as 802.15.4
