Random read code for eeprom

Hi!

            I'm tryng to read a data from a eeprom 24LC00 (random read) using a 68HC908JK1 but I haven't gotten yet.

             If I read after a write operation (currente read) almost operations are completed successfully. But sometimes the eeprom doesn't send the data to the microcontroler

           The code is in assembler  and I don't know if I make some time or routine mistake.

We can be of more help if you post a fragment of your code, and explain where you believe the problem will be.

With your description of the problem in your post, all I can say is "You have a software problem". Also, did you read AN1820????
