Hi,

I am going to use RS08KA8 uC in future projects and I can see that you need 12V on RESET pin in order to program or erase flash. Can anybody please tell me, can P&E HCS08 USB Multilink generate this 12V voltage on RESET pin or do I have to provide this voltage some other way?

Best regards,
Florijan

Hi,

Good news. Today I received samples of RS08KA8 and I was able to programm it using P&E Multilink Rev. C without any problems, just like S08 devices.

USB-ML-12-
HCS08, HC(S)12(X), RS08, and ColdFire V1 microcontrollers

However, for HC08 you will need USB-ML-MON08.

I never worked with RS08, BUT:
my P&E USB Multilink marked with "Rev. C" and "For  RS08 - HCS08 - HC(S)12(X)" on the bottom mark.

Hello Florijan,

The high programming voltage was also required for the older HC908 series.  If the latest offering of the USB Multilink is still capable of programming these devices, it should be capable of supplying the high voltage for the RS08 devices.  Perhaps check the P&E website.
