New Chip availability

I just saw an ad for a new family of Microcontrollers, the 9s08aw series. The specs are very impressive. I'd like to get a couple to try but...
1) Status sez "available" but, NO vender has stock.
2) No samples available either.
3) We are a small company and can't buy 100 just to try em out.

What to do now?
Any suggestions would be most welcome!

They will be available on the sample program shortly. We're experiencing a few small teething problems but they'll be up there soon.
