Thanks to all, but till now I've not been able to solve the problem. In fact the monitor program used in the Demo Board for the 68HC908QT4 (described in the application note AN2305) has some jumps to the QT/QY's ROM monitor program that for the QYA's ROM monitor has no sense. For example the jump to : IGetPut: equ $2D6B has a sense for the QY's ROM monitor, but for the QYA these are unimplemented memory location.
So the questions are, how must be re-addressed the jumps to the QY's ROM monitor program used in the AN2305 so that it works for the QYA family that has a different ROM monitor ?
Thanks
miche
Hello Miche,
The likely difference that would affect the monitor program is that, with the A-suffix part is the internal oscillator defaults to a 1 MHz bus frequency, compared to 3.2 MHz for the "classic" part. So the initialisation process will differ, in order to switch to the 3.2 MHz bus frequency.

Mac
Yes!
The QY is just a QT with an extra i/o port.
1,2 and 4 is just amount of flash.
1 to 2,4 is just an extra ADC module
There where many reports of recieving parts with more flash than what the part no. said and even ADC's in 1's.
I have used a QY4 (because I had some) in a project that originally used a QT1. Just ignore the extra pins (set as outs)

Woops!
Wrote this, then noticed the A at the end.
So I will scale back my answer to probably, refer to EB658 to confirm.
