Hello NXP team,

This may be unusual question. But our customer wants to know if NXP defines any restriction in altitude when MC9S08 device operates.

Our customer's system must work at 3,000 meters or less of altitude.

They want to use MC9S08 in that system.  Does NXP have any concerns about our customer's usage?

Here is information about environment where their system works.

- Ambient temp: 0 ~ 50 degC

- 30 ~ 90%RH

- Altitude ~ 3000 meter (701hPa)

- Surface temp of device: 105 degC (Max)

Thanks,

Norihiro Michigami

Please check my comments

- Ambient temp: 0 ~ 50 degC

for this temp, it’s ok for this part.

- 30 ~ 90%RH

Following AEC qual standard, we have done UHAST/HAST with stress condition 110°C/85%RH for 264hrs, so we don’t have enough data to support this environment

- Altitude ~ 3000 meter (701hPa)

there is no data to support this  I know that others S08 device and S12 are using for avionics product .

-Surface temp of device: 105 degC (Max)

You need to use the part that support (-40C ~125C)

I hope this will help you

Please let me know if you have more questions

have a good day.
