Hi, first sorry for my english :smileysad:, I soldered a MC68HC908AP32 QFP44 by mistake instead of a HC908AP64. When I tried to save a 55K program ... it worked! :smileysurprised: . I double check flash an it was all there, no errors at all :smileyhappy: And the program running at 7.32MHz works ok.

So my question is how reliable can be flash above 32K in a HC908AP32? Or is this a Freescale mistake?

PD: I tested an old AP32 QFP44 purchased almost 2 years ago same mask and it also has 60K flash! Is this normal? :smileyindifferent:

Thanks a lot

Hello Polo,

This does happen and is not a mistake.
Creating a brand new masks costs a lot of money and some masks are used for several devices.

The extra memory and features that you may have will not have been tested.
So, it may work as it may not work.

Cheers,
Alban.
