MC33984B: BY CHANNEL FAULT REGISTER ACCESS TROUBLE

Hello Everybody,

The MC33984B is a chip with two high side switches, every one with its config and status registers (as it is said in the datasheet http://www.freescale.com/files/analog/doc/data_sheet/MC33984.pdf)

But... I can not read the fault register associated to each switch in the chip. It seems that I always read a fault register that is the OR of the two registers, for any SOA3 bit value in the previous STATR write.

By the way, I can read other by channel registers, for example the SOCHLR register. (my soft seems to work ok).

Any help will be welcomed.
