I`ve just got my MMA7260Q accelerometer sample thanks to Freescale. Using this accelerometer i want to make a position application. My question is if somebody had implemented a position algorithm using this kind of accelerometer and where can i find some tips ?

OK, thank you. Then I will try to implement this algorithm. I have some questions about this algorith: why they do 64 sample avarage in a block methode ( 64, mediation, another block of 64, mediation) this means that at 128 samples i`ll have 2 points. I think it will be better to do a rolling avarage and another thing: at some point they make a left shift with 18 and i don`t understand why they multiply the actual calculated position with a 256K value wich is a big number.
