HC908JB16 ICP programming question

Hello all,

Have a question,

trying to program MCU  from PC via USB/ICP

i'm sending the ICP Set_IC_flag according to AN2399 with my password.

Then i can program the blocks in Flash. 

Does the Extented Security bit (if set) affect the ICP programming method?

Can i use ICP, if such bit i set?

Hello,

The extended security prevents USBICP access, it is actually shown in the small bit of disassembly that I referred you to before.

If in doubt try it! Failing security does not cause it to self-destuct.
