CMX - USB Windows 7

Hello all,

I have made a USB application on my JM60 8-but board and I have also made pc-side software that runs on windows xp, however I am having problems trying to run the software on windows 7. I'm sure it could be a driver issue. Are there drivers for the CMX stack on windows 7? Can anyone lead me in the right direction please. Thank you.

I too am having problems getting my USB to connect to Win7.  I am just using the DEMOJM board and the CMX CDC-terminal demo program.  My Win XP systems will load the supplied .inf file and works fine. When I move to Win7 I get the "Windows could not find your driver software for your device."  I am a hardware guy, and new to windows drivers.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  I must not be the first on to run into this issue.  Any help?  Gene.

Not sure if this will work with the CMX stack, but have a look at this thread:

You will have to put your vid and pid in the inf.

If it does not work you should submit a service request asking for the correct inf.

Please tell us what happens.
