About CAN listen only mode..

Hi 

         We are use mc9s08dz60 in our project the , we use the CAN interface  for communication ,in our design we have two node on the bus one in normal mode & other in listen only  mode ,the listen only  mode node is not receiving any message from bus & normal mode node give me transmitting error, so any buddy can tell me what is the issue?

To form CAN bus you need at least 2 active nodes. Message transmitted from one node must be ACKed by (at least one) another nodes. In listen only mode ACK's aren't send.
