AC32 SCI2 fail

Our customer uses a MC9S08AC32 SCI2 module (63/64 pin) for proprietary debugging issue.

We have TZ16649.1 / TZ16689.1 / TZ15938.1 LOT's causing intermittent failure parts here at his washer-machine application.

The AC32 from this LOT's does not working and the same PN when it come from other LOT works normally.

Is anyone knows if this LOT's has a problem?

I do not have any report of failures on the AC32 device.

Do you have a picture of the label or the body's mark in order to do a deep search on the internal system?

We do not have a report of failures on these date code.

Can you have access to the SCI register in order to check if the device is properly programmed?

Our customer does not have the 'source code' or 'project file', only the '.bin' file.

This is a problem also because i can't troubleshoot it and these LOTs is causing intermittent failure at customer's washer-machine.

Is there anything I can do in this case?

Do you know if the customer is using the internal clock or an external clock, I am thinking that this can be the problem.

without the source code, there is not much that you can do. You can check if you can do an attache to the board, but if the device is secured you won't be able to perform the attached.

Well,

The EXTAL pin (58) drive a transistor, so they using internal clock.

The device is also protected... i tested it

Anymore we can do for troubleshooting?
