Hi NXP community Sir/Madam,

      Now  i use the SDK_2.5.0_MIMXRT1052xxxxB2\boards\evkbimxrt1050\emwin_examples\emwin_gui_demo drive the FT6336U TFT LCD. First I used the demo touchpanel code fsl_ft5406_rt.c, change the I2C_slave_ADDRESS,find the code run into the touch_event != kTouch_Reserved, PLEASE give me some advices. Thank you!

Hi,

I compared FT5406 vs. FT6336, about I2C slave address:

I couldn't find any useful info from FT6336 datasheet about I2C slave address.

At first, it need to make sure I2C slave address correct.

Then, it need to check if I2C communication correct (get correct touch data).

I would recommend to use I2C analyzer to check if FT5406 driver also works with FT6336.

I do a search and find below resource for your reference about FT6336 driver:

And you also could check with FocalTech, if they have suitable driver for FT6336 for your reference.

Hi Hui,

    I used the board is M1052-16F128AWI-T by ZLG. Use the ZLG SDK can normal run.  The SDK used the FT5x06, I just change the slave address to 0x48. It is ok. But ZLG SDK is not open source. Now i use the NXP SDK , I do  not touch the panel, but the "touch_event ==kTouch_Down".
