Question on exFAT license for i.MX6

I have a question on exFAT license.

If we want to ship product with exFAT functionaltiy:

- Do we have to sign a license agreement with Microsoft?

- Or does the device cost of i.MX 6 include the license fee? (Can we get away with license agreement?)

Hi t_kuha,

NXP does not sell exFAT, you have to get it with microsoft, the i.mx6 does not include any license fee.
