Dear all,

i.MX7Solo has some OCRAM areas.

 - 0094_0000 - 0094_7FFF:  32KB / OCRAM_PXP
 - 0092_0000 - 0093_FFFF: 128KB / OCRAM_GP
 - 0090_0000 - 0091_FFFF: 128KB / OCRAM 128KB
 - 0018_0000 - 0018_7FFF:  32KB / OCRAM_S

I understood that OCRAM_PXP, OCRAM_GP and OCRAM 128KB could be used as Free Area.

(Reserved 46KB is excluded)

Can OCRAM_S be used as Free Area?

Best Regards,
Yuuki

Hello,

  The OCRAM parts are available for customer use when the corresponding block is not used :

- on a part where the EPDC is not available(ie disabled) the EPDC OCRAM (for i.MX7D) is free for applications  ;

- the memory, attached to the PXP, is user accessible if the PXP is not in use.

  On i.MX7D/S, the boot vector for the M4 core is located at the start of the OCRAM_S, so it may be used for

other purposes, when no applications for CM4.
