How to use MFG tool to flash Uboot and Kernel on NOR Flash

Hi,

 I am working over IMX6 based solo board . In my design , NOR Flash is interfaced with IMX6 solo. How to use MFG tool to flash the uboot and kernel over the NOR Flash. Does this tool work with JTAG interface ?  or require any other interface. Please suggest.

Hello Aditya,

The MFG Tool,  uses the  USB Serial Downloader to load into the RAM of the system a micro Linux in order to flash your media,  the commands of the Micro Linux to flash, it is just like a  dd command, you can review the  User Guide in the Documentation folder of the installation of the MFG Tool.   The commands are call from an  XML file.
