Hello

Sometimes, I've faced the next PCIE error message.

Test Engineer told me that this message happens once a day.

I wonder whether this kind of time-out is normal operation or not.

On using broadcom switch over PCIe with MPC,

I've never seen this kind of message before using T2080...

I think Configuration read request is related to read a basic PCI configuration space.

So, it seems so weird that it fails, because that's basic operation.

PCIE error(s) detected

PCIE ERR_DR register: 0x00400000
PCIE ERR_CAP_STAT register: 0x80000001
PCIE ERR_CAP_R0 register: 0x00000800
PCIE ERR_CAP_R1 register: 0x00000000
PCIE ERR_CAP_R2 register: 0x00000000
PCIE ERR_CAP_R3 register: 0x00000000

The below definition of ERR_DR register seems to indicate that  PCI Express Ack time-out.

PCIE ERR_CAP_R0 register: 0x00000800 --> FMT = 00 TYPE 00100

PCIE ERR_CAP_R2 register: 0x00000000
PCIE ERR_CAP_R3 register: 0x00000000

PCIE ERR_CAP_R* seem to indicate PCIE error happens when accessing Configuration Read Type 0

2.2.1. Common Packet Header Fields shows  "Fmt[2:0] and Type[4:0] field Encodings"
