The 68k/Coldfire architecture is dead?
NPX or customer/manufacturers haven´t more interest this architecture?
I don´t see new processors this architecture being released long time ago.

What's your point? What sort of answer are you looking for?

This came up a year ago:

There are probably other posts you could find with the right search of this forum.

The "future" is ARM. That's been obvious for a long time and for a lot of reasons.

If the "future" is ARM, then NXP isn´t  interested in ColdFire architecture. Therefore, NXP will not develop new processors and this architecture will die when the current processors will lose support (Product Longevity) and there aren´t more stocks.
