Dear All,
Which microcontroller and the evaluation board should i purchase for the automotive communication protocals like Flexray,CAN and LIN development.
Also does freescale has any boards targeting advanced driver assistance functions (ADAS)?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Raghavendra P
Hi,
I recommend you microcontrollers from 57xx family. There are few possibilities, which meet your requirements about Flexray, CAN and LIN.
Please look at the following microcontrollers:
MPC574xB/C/D/G|32-bit MCU|Gateway|NXP
MPC5777M|32-bit MCU|Powertrain|NXP
About ADAS module, there are two main devices:
S32R Radar Microcontroller|NXP
If you have any other questions, please feel free to write me back.

Martin
Hello Martin,
Thanks for the information.
1.Can we use configuration tool like the Rappid Tool for startup code and low level driver code generation?
2. Any IDE like the S32 Design Studio support the MP57xx series?
3. Do we have a evaluation boards for the above micro's?
Regards,
Raghavendra P
Hello Raghavendra,
1) Yes, RappiD Init could be used for startup code, but I am not sure about low level drivers code generation. I will ask my colleague on Monday.
2) Green Hills and also WindRiver has their own solutions, but both are under license. Please look following links:
3) Here is link for MPC5777M EVB and MPC5748G EVB

Evaluation System for MPC574xB/C/G Family|NXP
About MPC5775K and s32r please contact you local distributor. He will provide you more accurate information.

Hello Martin,
Thanks for the information
Is Autosar_CS software a free package for Evaluation System for MPC574xB/C/G Family|NXP ?
Do we have a Codewarrior Environment with GCC compiler for above micro's?
