How to play a 720P video with VLC ?

How to use hardware decoder of i.mx6 when paly 720P video with VLC?

Hello,

    It makes sense to use players, that are based on GStreamer, since

(i.MX6, from Freescale) GStreamer relies on hardware (VPU) features of the i.MX6.

VLC may be used only in software way [we do not have optimized for VPU hardware
VLC libs].  Totem may be recommended.
