Strange waveform measurement of Reset pin

I was making a sample board using the MK64FN1M0VLQ12

Apply the power and confirmed the clock and reset.

But this strange wave was measured at reset pin. like as below,

My sample board have a 10K  ohm pull up resistor.

Regardless of the existence of the pull-up resistor, this waveform is

always measured, Like the attached picture.

It seems like a reset pin directly drives High-Low as the output pin.

So I am the SWD debugging using the J-Link Tool Fail to proceed.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Hi,

The reset pin oscillating is normal behavior for unprogrammed Kinetis product.

Please check below thread for the reason:

Problem with pin reset on MCU MKL25Z128VLK4.

Re: Problem to program KL05Z - reset_b oscillation

Customer can use J-Link tool to program the K64 flash memory, then the reset pin oscillating behavior should be fixed.

Wish it helps.

Best regards,

Ma Hui
