Timesys,

What is the current recommended way to initialize the values of GPIOs with device tree?

Thanks,

Aaron

Hello Aaron,

We would recommend reviewing the documentation included in the kernel source, describing Device Trees and GPIO:

https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git/tree/Documentation/devicetree/b...

Further, review of other hardware's setup and initialization of GPIO in their corresponding device trees could be beneficial, such as i.MX6 hardware.
