Hello syama Das,

Which driver you want to test?

DPAA contains SEC,PME,SRIO and so on.

U please refer the manual

Freescale Technical Information Center

->linux user space->usdpaa applications

Thanks,

Hi Aravind,

I wanted to test the FMan,QMan and BMan are working as expected or not. And mostly I want test some functionality of   Linux Ethernet Driver for DPAA(like Private DPAA Ethernet Driver,Shared DPAA Ethernet Driver etc.).If you suggest me some scenarios for SEC and PME also that will be great.

Hello Syama,

In the Section "Benchmark Reproducibility Guides" contains some test scenarios, for example IP Forward, IPSEC, Netperf, etc. USDPAA also provides some applications, for example reflector, IPForward, etc.

About the shared MAC technology, there are two methods, a MAC device is shared between different partitions under a Hypervisor and second a MAC device is shared between USDPAA and Linux Kernel.

I think probably you are interested in the second one. Under USDPAA document "Freescale P4080/P5020/P3041 USDPAA IPFwd Longest Prefix Match User Manual" contains a section "How to run shared MAC interface", you could have a reference. Here you could use other USDPAA application (for example reflector) to do verification.

USDPAA also provides some applications for PME and IPSecfwd.

Have a great day,
Yiping

Yes, please use the latest version SDK1.6 which introduce T1040 as a new device supported.
