I have a i.mx28 evk board and am trying to get ltib installed so I can build the images for this board.

My host is a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS laptop.

I started from L2.6.35_1.1.0_130130_source.tar.gz and proceeded in installing the LTIB software.

Found numerous problems and with the help of net search I fixed a number of them.

Now I am getting

Try linux-2.6.38-imx_10.12.01.bz2.md5 from the GPP

http://bitshrine.org/gpp/linux-2.6.38-imx_10.12.01.bz2.md5:

09:54:20 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Try linux-2.6.38-imx_10.12.01.bz2 from the GPP

http://bitshrine.org/gpp/linux-2.6.38-imx_10.12.01.bz2:

09:54:20 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Can't get: linux-2.6.38-imx_10.12.01.bz2 at ./ltib line 802.

It seems that the files required are no longer available at bitshrine.org.

Could anyone point me to the proper place to obtain all the files required to build ltib and then finally the images  produced as in L2.6.35_10.12.01_SDK_images_MX28(1).tar.gz

I am not necessary set on building with LTIB, openembedded or yocto would be fine too.

has anyone used those alternatives

Thank you for any help here

The LTIB release L2.6.35_10.12.01 was tested for kernel version 2.6.35 ; looks like 2.6.38 version was selected in the case.

Please try to use the just the 2.6.35.

Strange that those important files are not available. Give it a try to Yocto (which is OE and some other layers).
