Vaclav Simek has obtained MSc degree in 2006 within the framework of study programme "Electronics and Information Technologies" at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. From 2010 onwards, he is holding a position of teaching assistant and researcher at the same institution, where he is also supposed to finish his Ph.D. research focused on acceleration methods for the computation of diffential equations. In addition, his proffesional and research interests also include embedded systems, digital hardware design and data compression.
