software reset with the same effect as power-on reset after the online upgrade of the RT1020

Hi ALL,

I am developing an online upgrade feature for RT1020, but I have encountered difficulties. The difficulty is that many components of RT1020 cannot function properly after I download the new image and perform a software reset. However, when I power off and reset, all components are working properly.

I have read the reference manual of TR1020 and found that there are differences in the components between power on reset and hot start reset. Would you like to inquire if there are any registers that can enable software reset to achieve the same effect as power on reset? If so, please provide specific registers and implementation methods. Thank you

Hi @295320972,

I'm afraid that by the nature of a Power On Reset, there is not way of achieving the same effect with a Software Reset. The only way of achieving a POR is with HW.
