Hello,

i'm going to use HyperRam on EVK 700-50577 rev C1 ( core M7 ) because my eval code is too large for DTC and ITC but when the program is downloaded after few times crash.

i've attached a simple program to test it.

thanks

Hi @SimoneColomboWEG

Thank you for your interest on our RT1180!

I do not have an RT1180 to test with me, as I am not part of the NPI process of the RT1180,  so I can not  reproduce this issue on my bench. For this particular time,  I advice to contact your dedicated NXP representative, to get more dedicated help.

I still checked your project, and  I saw that you linked your application to the HyperRAM address space, I wonder if the issue you are reporting can be reproduced all the time. But I  suggest you to check with the XMCD that the MCUxpresso Secure Provisioning embeds when programming your image.  With the tool, you can generate a bootable image and program over LPUART1 or USB1. Below a reference picture.

I hope this helps you!

Thanks Diego, i will try but this is only a test. i must use hyper ram with debugger but i want to understand why all example for M7 present oin SDK works only with internal ram, isn't checked wirh flash or external ram? i understand that the mcu is not released in this date but, as me i need to check the mcu to decide if use nxp or another brand, and i have a lot of problem for simple things..

anyway if you have a chance to use an 1180 board and test it runtime shuld appreciate.

Hi @SimoneColomboWEG

Thank you for your reply, I understand your feeling, agian we appreaciate your interest.

Let me check and discuss about this situation. I want to know which SDK release and toolchain you are using, could you let know that?

Update: maybe this will help to explain the issue:  see  RAW/POR image switch from the new MCUXpresso https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/mcuxsdk/latest/html/boards/evkmimxrt1180/gettingStarted/topics/bootable_i...
