Hi All
The i.MX RT 117X has a clock root selection matrix which allows each clock root a choice of 8 different sources (22 potential clock sources exist overall). 4 of the sources are the same for each clock root and then each clock root has 4 others which vary for each clock root and, in some cases, also between clock roots for the same peripheral type.
To make this clearer a chart has been created which allows the exact clock sources that are available to each of the 79 clock roots in the i.MX RT 117X.
