I am trying to analyze the boot image authentication .bd file (using i.MXRT1172), and i have some doubts regarding the InstallSRK_SourceIndex, InstallKey_VerificationIndex and InstallKey_TargetIndex.
In my understanding Source Index is the index of the key table file. But still I didn't understand the concept of the Verification Index and Target Index. Where from can i get the details of this.
currently i am using certificate CSF1_1_sha256_2048_65537_v3_usr_crt.pem and IMG1_1_sha256_2048_65537_v3_usr_crt.pem and using InstallSRK_SourceIndex=0, InstallKey_VerificationIndex=0, InstallKey_TargetIndex=2.
And what will be the value of SourceIndex, VerificationIndex, TargetIndex if i use the certificates CSF2_1_sha256_2048_65537_v3_usr_crt.pem and IMG2_1_sha256_2048_65537_v3_usr_crt.pem
Hi @jomonthomas ,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
I was wondering if you can share the .bd file, further, can you introduce where you get it?
Have a great day,
TIC

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I find a case for your question, I think the case was created by you, and you can send the .bd file by giving the reply to the case.
Have a great day,
TIC
