Hi all,
I am currently working with the NXP i.MX RT1176 controller and looking to implement IP camera streaming functionality directly from the controller. For this, I need to integrate RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) to enable video streaming over Ethernet.
As of now, I haven’t found any example projects or reference implementations of RTSP streaming on the RT1176 platform. I would appreciate any guidance, examples, or recommendations on:
RTSP client or server implementation on RT1176
Streaming video using RTSP over Ethernet or Wi-Fi
Whether anyone has successfully used LIVE555 or similar lightweight RTSP stacks with the RT1176
If NXP or the community has any reference designs or SDKs that include RTSP streaming (e.g., related to SLN-TLHMI-IOT-RD or SLN-VIZNAS-IOT), that would also be very helpful.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Pavankumar1 ,
Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.
While we currently do not have example code or use cases for RTSP implementation on i.MX RT MCUs.
I can provide you an application note documenting the H.264 video decoding workflow for RT devices.
Application Note (AN12562): Development of H.264 video decode on RT series - NXP Community
Wish it helps you.
If you still have question about it, please kindly let me know.
Wish you a nice day!
Best Regards
