RT1176 USB Not Working

Hello, 

I designed a custom board based on MIMXRT1176CVM8A and connected the USB1 to a micro USB connector, but the PC does not identify the board using the MXUxpresso Secure Provisioning. What are the reasons for this? 

Regarding the circuits,

Thank you for your reply. 

1. My board powered correctly, and I can work around the MCU, reading from RAM and flashing the QSPI. 

2. I am sure to choose the boot in serial mode before I power up the board, but even after booting, the USB doesn't work. 

3. For the HW design USB, I already took the circuit, connections, and components from the EVK design.

Thanks for your updated information.

Please check whether the USB connection is normal and replace the cable; 

Please use a multimeter to test whether the USB power supply is normal ; Please check the status of the USB ID signal.

I suggest you can compare your custom board with the MIMXRT1170-EVKB development board status to see if there are any differences.

Regarding your question, I suggest you check the following points:

1. Verify whether your custom board powers on successfully.

For example, the next Fig shows the power control logic of the IMXRT1170 EVK board.

2. Before using the MXUxpresso Secure Provisioning, have you set the BOOT_MODE to "Serial Downloader"?

3:  As for your USB HW design, I suggest you can refer to MIMXRT1170-EVK  board design.
