I need a second flash linked/XIP bootloader in my design to manage selecting which fw application (programmed also on QSPI flash different regions) -- a typical and popular design discussed here.
I couldn't find the flash linked bootloader code for rt1020 repo. However I dug in the forums to find it is included in AN12604SW.zip?!. Questions:
AN12604SW bootloader appears to have maybe 20% of the ram resident flashloader in terms of functionality/blhost commands and works only with DEBUG turned on... Do you have a fully compatible flash linked bootloader wrt flashloader? Or way to configure RAMloader to flash linked bootloader?
Thanks
Hi @JamesNgo ,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
Actually, the AN12304SW provides the second bootloader based on XIP, which definitely meets your requirement.
Have a great day,
TIC
