Hello,
we are building a custom board for MIMXRT1175AVM8A part.
the datasheet mentioned something that caused some concerns:
we have used the SDK to develop our FW based on IMXRT-1170-EVK and noticed that the clock input can NOT be changed.
Obviously, we have to use the NXP SDK for our FW development as the starting point.
why does data sheet mention this 24 MHz restriction if using SDK?
Is that a real restriction? can you please shed some lights?
Thanks,
Henry Nguyen
Hi @henrynguyen ,
You can use crystal or external clock source, but the frequency must be 24Mhz. It's not required by SDK. You can omit this sentence I think.

Jing
hi Jingpan,
thank you so much for the confirmation.
we have another question about bypass configuration.
in the data sheet, it said there are 3 configurations and NXP recommends configuration 2 as the below snap shot.
in TRM, there is only one bit to configure by pass enable as below.
can you please let me know where i can find the information for the 3 configurations?
the documents are confused and inconsistent.
Thanks,
Henry
Hi @henrynguyen ,
Please follow the RM 16.3.1.1. RT10xx has 3 configuration. But RT11xx is different.
