Issue running SDK example code

I have a MIMXRT1160-EVK. It seems that I can no longer run SDK sample code. I am not certain if I have downloaded something to the board that may have caused this issue; I may have tried to load a Linux variant incorrectly. I have tried to run the "evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7" example, which I believe is what is on the CCA when delivered. The example will build, but will not run. The "Problem Occurred" details is pretty wordy, but says this:

Error starting process.
Cannot run program "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\MCUXpressoIDE_11.5.1_7266\workspace\evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7\Debug\evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7.axf": Launching failed
Cannot run program "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\MCUXpressoIDE_11.5.1_7266\workspace\evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7\Debug\evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7.axf": Launching failed
Cannot run program "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\MCUXpressoIDE_11.5.1_7266\workspace\evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7\Debug\evkmimxrt1160_iled_blinky_cm7.axf": Launching failed

Is there any way to determine what happened here? Can I revert back to the configuration of a newly delivered EVK? I have not moved any jumpers of DIP switches.

In order to understand I have some questions, Could you tell me if you are using the debugger on the boar or an external debugger? Could you share the state of the dipswitch? Could you share the state of the jumpers?

I have debug sessions working now. It was a simple issue of not getting the debug example software correctly downloaded to the board. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my issue.
