Is there any good sample in read/write device internal registers on I2C bus?

Hi everybody.

I have study all examples about the LPI2C applications in iMXRT1052. But there is not any implicit approach that could address and modify devices internal registers contents which has been connected to the processor with #I2C bus. 

Is there anyone who could help me to find out the best approach to use LPI2C for doing that?
