Hi!
There is a custom PCB and custom application not related with vision or voice processing.
The PCB/application were designed for MIMXRT1176. But it is difficult to perchase this part, while MIMXRT117H parts are available.
-------------------------
could one solder MIMXRT117H instead of MIMXRT1176 on the board and run custom application on the CPU?
If yes:
will software develompent procedure and board bring up differ from regular procedure for MIMXRT1176 or not?
BR,
Sergey.

Hi @sergio19 ,
Yes, you can use the RT117H to replace the RT1176.
But, please note, the RT117H is single core, not the dual core:
You can consider the RT117F is the RT1172, but RT117F can support the NXP’s EdgeReady MCU-based solution.
Wish it helps you!

Thank you for information!
But from the table you attached and from the datasheet : MIMXRT117H is dual core, it has 1Gb Ethernet and other features similar to MIMXRT1176. Could you please repeat that HW of MIMXRT117H part defers from the HW of MIMXRT1176 (dual/single core, etc.)?
I am worried about EdgeReady sollution: does the software stack part located in the MCU affect compatibility with "bare metal" application written for MIMXRT1176?
BR,
Sergey.
Hi @sergio19 ,
Sorry, you mean RT117H, not RT117F.
Yes, RT117H is the same as RT1176, to the "bare metal" , it's totally OK.
Please note, RT117H have more function than RT1176, so, don't worry if just bare-metal.
