Hi all

I am new to imx6q board so I am not aware about many basic things.

Initially, with default OS android, board was booted and display was shown successfully.

now I am facing problem in identifying Linux image to boot. I found some images from the below link

    http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=IMX6_SW

in Linux in 'i.MX 6 BSP Updates and Releases'

     1. first I used 'Ubuntu images' , but after this my board was not booting.

     2. Then I used 'SDCARD image in 'Source Code, Multimedia Codecs and SABRE Demo Images'

in this case, board is booting (checked using Tera Term), but display is not shown.

please, let me know what image should I use so that board will be booted and display will be shown or I should use any other way to achieve the purpose if so then what I should follow?

Thanking you.

First, it would be better to transfer "Ubuntu" image to SD card via the MFG : for example,
the MFG contains empty file "oneiric.tgz", just change it for correct one.
Next, You need to configure U-boot environment, say for SD boot, as recommended
in Linux User's Manual.

Have a great day,
Yuri
