video_decoder.wmv difference

Dear NXP:

We got the Android4.4 from you. We found the "video_decoder.wmv9" in the codes, which is the wvm video decoder. but we found "component_role=video_decoder.wmv;" in the /system/etc/component_register in our terminal. We wonder why the role is video_decoder.wmv; but not video_decoder.wmv9.

Could NXP  explains this difference. That is, it is video_decoder.wmv9 in the codes but video_decoder.wmv in the /system/etc/component_register. 

This causes the system cannot found the component for asf video file and cannot play it.

WMV and WMA are restricted codec packages and are not generally available. They need to be installed from the Restricted Codec Package as described in sect.6 Freescale Extended Feature Packages

attached Release Notes. One can apply to NXP local marketing office for details.
