usb stick problem

I have a problem with my freescale imx28 EVK board. On the usb port I have a 2port hub board connected (EVB-USB2512Q36-BAS_C).

Most of the time I have no problems, but sometimes when I insert a USB-stick I get the following errors:

fsl-ehci fsl-ehci.0: port 1 reset error -110

hub 2-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)

fsl-ehci fsl-ehci.0: port 1 reset error -110

hub 2-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)

fsl-ehci fsl-ehci.0: port 1 reset error -110

hub 2-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)

fsl-ehci fsl-ehci.0: port 1 reset error -110

hub 2-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)

fsl-ehci fsl-ehci.0: port 1 reset error -110

hub 2-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)

hub 2-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 1.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?

After that error, no usb devices can be added to the hub untill I reboot the imx or reconnect the hub...

What could be causing this error? How can it be solved?

A couple months ago I was having similar problems with the USB failing on the imx28 EVK during suspend and resume operations.  For me it wasn't just USB hubs failing it was any USB device.

I don't know if the cause of your problem is the same...  Attached is a patch for the kernel included in the L2.6.35_10.12.01 SDK which resolved the issues I was having with USB.
