I am using Android 4.04 with an i.mx6q and my vold.fstab is -

dev_mount udisk /mnt/udisk auto /devices/platform/fsl-ehci.1/usb2

dev_mount extsd /mnt/extsd auto /devices/platform/sdhci-esdhc-imx.2/mmc_host/mmc1

dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard 4 /devices/platform/sdhci-esdhc-imx.3/mmc_host/mmc0

When I insert the usb stick memory device I get -

root@android:/ # usb 2-1.2: new high speed USB device number 3 using fsl-ehci
scsi0 : usb-storage 2-1.2:1.0
scsi 0:0:0:0: Direct-Access                                    PQ: 0 ANSI: 4
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] 3891200 512-byte logical blocks: (1.99 GB/1.85 GiB)
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write Protect is off
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] No Caching mode page present
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Assuming drive cache: write through
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] No Caching mode page present
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Assuming drive cache: write through
sda: sda1
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] No Caching mode page present
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Assuming drive cache: write through
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI removable disk

When I remove the usb stick memory device I get -

root@android:/ #
root@android:/ # usb 2-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 3

root@android:/ #

This is all OK, except that the device is not auto dismounting when it is removed.

What do I need to do to get the usb memory stick to auto dismount on removal ?
