question for /dev/fb0

Dears,

Could you please tell that whether the func cfb_imageblit(...) in file cfbimgblt.c used for ?

I am porting lcdc on IMX7D,I just want to know if function  cfb_imageblit is needed when open /dev/fb0 to flush image in userspace test code.
