pmic powerup problem

hi i.mx6 community

in my custom made board based on i.mx6 the pmic is not startsup

i am using pmic MMF0100NP device and when  power is given switch3 voltage 1.5v is coming remaining or not but standby signal is high

to make it low i shorted to ground through a jumper even voltages are not coming what could be the problem ?

please can any one help me in this regsrd

Hi

are you talking about 1V5 for DDR in pin 38?

reasons for that PS to miss are many:

- compare carefully the schematic with a similar board, as sabreauto maybe, well-known to work

- something wrong in the connected DDR, so once disconnected from the PMIC you should se the correct 1.5

also, never short pins directly to GND or VCC, always use a resistor.

no i am getting DDR voltage from PMIC switch3 but problem is that reaminig i am not getting

one more thing is PMIC is getting hot

if chip is overheating it may turn off its supplies, recommended to

check connections using AN4717 AN4717, Schematic Guidelines for the MMPF0100

Also MMF0100NP (not programmed) should not be used with i.MX6,

please use programmed parts, given in Table 1. Orderable Part Variations MMPF0100
