Hello experts,

I have the imx8qm mek board and I want to try dual OS on it: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/iMX_DIGITAL_COCKPIT_HW_PARTITIONING_8QM.pdf

The problem is there are no sample images, can you provide some?

Also, can I boot Android 12/13/14 on it, using this aproach.

Br,

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,

Unfortunately, I don't have any images to share with you, you'd need to bake the recipe for the digital cockpit demo, please refer to the i.MX Yocto Project User's Guide to build the image and sign it as the i.MX Digital Cockpit Hardware Partitioning Enablement for i.MX 8QuadMax.

For the android dual boot, you could use the demo that is available.

Regards

the latest linuxes have no support for Dual Os, or cockpit. I am starting to believe that no linux from nxp supports dual-os/cockpit.

Hi,

I know that the process may be long and there aren't any already-signed images but there shouldn't be any issues with linux dual boot following both guides sent,

Also, you could test android as wrote in the documentation

> uuu_imx_android_flash.bat -f imx8qm -a -e -u trusty-dual

Tried with both androids, normal and auto:
illegal parameter "trusty_dual" for "-u" option
