HI anyone:

      Our project need to pass the "hdmi compatible test" but some item fail.

        Does anyone know about the hdmi CTS thing and give me a hand ?

      Here is the project information:

          1. hardware: imx6q

          2. software: android4.4.2 kernel:3.0.14

    fail items:

     1, 7-29, fail only on VIC1 640x480p 60Hz, the lab advise to change the N and CTS value according to the table, but I don't know where to modify :

  here is the log:

Test ID 7-29 : FAIL

 

fail 2:  7-13, C2 is too large on DUT OFF :

for supported HDMI timings one can refer to sect.33.4.3 Supported Video Mode

Thanks.

I have checked the video mode, it supports.

And the "Eye pattern" test is pass.

The test fail in CTS (hdmi compatible test), the fail item is :ID 7-29

and it only fail at resolution 640x480.

Here is the log:

(I have checked the N and CTS value, it's setted according toassociation provided, maybe the root cause is not the N and CTS value

)

HI :

 

    But the "Professional Engineering Services" need to pay. 

    We don't want to pay for such an issue, the evk board should have did the test, could you contact your 

internal engeer, who have ever handle the CTS ?

Hi jiangyaqiang

 

unfortunately there are no other standard ways for CTS tests support.

Suggest to apply to local marketing office to check if  it is possible to help with other options.
