imx6q bmode usb

I have an imx6q-based board, and when running "bmode usb" with a micro-B cable plugged in, the board doesn't go into USB download mode. Instead, it just restarts normally and boots from MMC. Why would this happen?

P.S. There is a physical jumper that can put the board into download mode without issue, I am just tryting to do it from software. I can also run "sdp 0" to put the board into download mode, but then the uuu tool doesn't work.

Could you share the uboot version that you are using?
Please note that this is enabled by default in our BSP

Also, please share how you are trying to connect by using UUU
