Hi,

We are working on the iMX8M Plus EVK,In that we observed that holding SW1 for about 5 seconds powers off the EVK, and pressing it for about 1 second powers it on again. Please confirm whether this behavior is handled by hardware/PMIC or by software.

Also, when SW3 is moved to the ON position, the board powers on automatically without pressing SW1. Please confirm whether this is the expected default behavior of the i.MX8M Plus EVK.

Hi @Govind1807,
Thank you for contacting NXP Support.

This behavior is related to an internal FSM implemented within the processor.

For a better understanding, I have attached the corresponding block diagram that illustrates the FSM behavior and its state transitions.
